Sibshops are lively, action-packed, 3-hour workshop for brothers and sisters of kids with special needs. It is a time to connect with others, to have fun, and to celebrate the many contributions made by siblings of kids with special needs.

Sibshops acknowledge that being the brother or sister of a person with special needs is for some a good thing, for others a not-so-good thing, and for many, somewhere in between. Believing that brothers and sisters have much to offer one another, the Sibshop model mixes information and discussion with activities and fun!

What happens at Sibshops? Fun times and connecting with others happens! Each Sibshop mixes connecting with others, discussion, information and fun activities such as games, art, music, cooking and more.

Who can attend? Typically developing siblings of children with special needs, ages 6-12.

When: 2nd Friday of every month from 4pm - 7pm
(April and July Sibshops meet the 3rd Friday due to Kindering closures)

Where: Kindering Bellevue and Kindering Bothell (same day, same time, two location options!)

Cost: Sibshops are $30 per session, per child. This includes dinner. Scholarship funds are available upon request.

Thanks to our partnership with Northwest Special Families, all NSF members whill receive adiscounted registration cost of $20 per session, per child.

How do I register my child?
Step 1: Sign up for one or more workshops by filling out the Sibshops Registration Form by going to, https://kindering.org/sibshops-registration/

Step 2: Make a payment online or bring a check made payable to Kindering to your first Sibshops Workshop

Please note: Although we make every attempt to accommodate everyone who registers, we do have a limited number of spaces (16) for Sibshops. Registrations will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis and confirmed via e-mail.
