Last year, The Arc of King County provieded support for more than 4,000 individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, as well as their families, professionals, and educators who support them. We helped people secure housing and navigate special education services, access social services and healthcare, develop personal skills through innovative programs, and live their best lives in the community. 

This important work is only possible because of generous donors like you. 

  

Our work is not done. There are 36,000 people with intellectual and developmental disabilities in King County - many are not receiving needed support. Adults are isolated and children segregated. We will continue to serve and work to build inclusive communities so we can all thrive. 

Your donation ensures this important work continues and there are many ways to give:

We also accept contributions of non-cash assets to support The Arc of King County, while maximizing your tax benefits. Options include donations of:

  • Publicly traded stock  
  • Grants from your Donor Advised Fund (DAF)  
  • Qualified Charitable Distributions (QCD) through your IRA (for those 70½ and older)
