Tier One presented by The Arc of King County
Disability is Diversity
Did you know that disability is form of diversity? Many people don't. Disability is often left out of equity and social justice conversations, however people with disabilities are one of the most marginalized and dis-empowered groups. Join this workshop to become part of the solution. Together we will discuss how our thoughts impact our words and the way we treat people with disabilities to help each person identify their role in creating a culture of inclusion.
Trainers are people with disabilities, family members, and allies.
