FAMILY LISTENING SESSION: Black/African American Families
The Arc of King County and King County DDECSD invite you to a FAMILY LISTENING SESSION!
Who: Parents of young children with IDD, ages 3-7
What: A facilitated listening session, exploring the needs and experiences of parents with young children with IDD. Your experiences and stories are valuable!
Why: King County is seeking to understand what is working well for families with children 3-5, and not so well! King County will use your input to develop priorities for improving experiences for children 3-5 and their families. The Arc of King County will share back with all participating families about what will happen next.
Wednesday, Feb. 21: Spanish Speaking Families
Tuesday, Feb. 27: English Speaking Families
Tuesday, March 5: Black/African American Families
**All sessions will be held from 6-8pm via Zoom.
How: Space is limited. Please contact RNemhauser@arcofkingcounty.org to reserve your spot, and to request accommodations/interpretation.
Please note: Your voice and face will NOT be recorded. Your name will not be attached to anything you say. After the meeting, the Arc of King County will give King County notes or a transcript with names removed. • All families who participate will receive a $100 gift card to thank them for their time
