Adolescent Transition Intensives

Offered as a community education component through UW LEND in partnership with Summit Community Center, the Adolescent Transition Series covers a range of topics related to lifespan development and adolescent transition for individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities (I/DD). Over the course of 4 weeks, learning alongside other parent/caregivers and professionals in the field, each participant will have the opportunity to gain both a basic understanding of transition topics, support/services, while also learning from each other’s real-life experiences
Topics Covered:
State & Federal Benefits
Financial planning
Education
Employment
Housing
Community Engagement
Health
