The Great Fall Get-Together

A two-part virtual recreational opportunity for teens and young adults (14-24) with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Join us on November 14th from 1:00-3:30 PM for Paper Airplanes: The Physics of Flight. We will create some cool new paper airplane models, and explore the science behind what makes them fly. This fun event is a perfect way to meet new friends and connect with old friends too!

Then on December 12 from 1:00-3:30 PM join us for Comic Creation: A Workshop with Graphic Novelist David Lasky. Have you ever wanted to know how a comic book is created? Do you have an idea for a comic and want to learn how to get started? Just want to practice drawing while you hang out with other people your age? This is the workshop for you! We are so excited to be joined by best-selling author David Lasky (https://davidlasky.carbonmade.com/), and look forward to seeing what we all create!

Participants of all abilities and skill levels are encouraged to attend. You can attend one session or both, and all required materials will be provided. For more information about the program, contact JKim@arcofkingcounty.org.

Please register by November 3rd through: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/the-great-fall-get-together-tickets-124450624167
