Parenting with ADHD in Mind
Group Coaching Sessions run for 6 weeks with 1.5 hour sessions each week. Limit 4-8 participants for personal attention. Each session will consist of ADHD education to help you understand how your child's brain wiring works and coaching to empower you to explore the best strategies for your particular situation. Group Coaching is an interactive process for exploration and self discovery. Exact topics covered and amount of information covered vary based on group needs and group dynamics.

Understanding ADHD and ADHD Coaching
Review the key concepts relating to underlying biology, how this affects the child with ADHD, the coaching approach and strategies.
Bringing out the best in your child
How to set expectations, communicate clear messages, create house rules and catch your child being good.
Being your child's coach
How to develop a curious mindset, ask powerful questions, develop reflective listening and use collaborative problem solving
Bringing about change in behavior
How to model, role play and rehearse target behaviors and use positive reinforcement
Discussing ADHD with your child
How to use language your child can relate to, explain brain chemicals to young children and speak about their symptoms/diagnosis.
Taking care of yourself
How to practice self compassion, learn to pause, reconnect to who you are and find balance in your lives.
