Rachel joins the Board of Trustees after more than a decade of involvement with The Arc, including receiving referrals and support when her teenage son was first diagnosed with autism in 2003. After a brief career in international journalism, she joined the global development organization World Vision where she has served in leadership roles across media relations, field operations in East Africa, and now Child Protection. After graduating from Interlake High School in Bellevue, Rachel studied at Georgetown University before settling back in Federal Way with her family. Currently pursuing an MBA at the Wharton School, during her free time you can find her enjoying the outdoors or a leisurely meal with her husband, two teenagers, and baby daughter.
