Low-Income Energy Assistance Program (LIEAP)

Emergency assistance (immediately after final shut-off notice) if your income is at or below 200% of the poverty level ($1,400 or less per month for one person, 2/02) you will probably qualify for up to 50% (up to$200) of your bill.  You may qualify only once a year.  Year-round assistance available for some low-income individuals and families.  Contact local agency to apply.
