Washington Parents Are Vital in Education (PAVE)

Non-profit organization, staffed mostly by parents who have children with special needs.  Information and resources: workshops on a variety of subjects such as special education information, transition, cultural diversity, family centered care, Birth to Three, military issues, communication skills, and many others. They also provide assistance to parents and professionals in working together as team members, and have a lending library (books, audio and videotapes).
