2010 Traumatic Brain Injury Conference
We are excited to announce the 2010 Washington State Traumatic Brain Injury Conference. This dynamic two day conference will be held on Friday, April 30 and Saturday, May 1, 2010 at the Marriott Airport Hotel in SeaTac.
The theme of this year's conference is Beyond Survival: Thriving after a Traumatic Brain Injury. The conference will provide strategies, tools, and resources to help improve the lives of individuals with traumatic brain injury in Washington State. Target Audiences include: Professionals, Caregivers, and Individuals with TBI.
This conference is generously sponsored by the Washington TBI Strategic Partnership Advisory Council, Department of Social and Health Services, and University of Washington TBI Model Systems.

- Dates: Friday, April 30 and Saturday, May 1, 2010
- Location and Hotel Accomodations : Marriott Airport Hotel in SeaTac, WA.
- Cost: Two day conference is $100 (hotel accomodations are additional cost). There are no discounted rates for partial attendance.
- Conference Details: Download a copy of the Conference Registration form. Deadline for registration is April 15th or when registration is full.
- Please mail your completed registration AND check payment to guarantee registration. Payment by CHECK only, payable to: State of Washington.
- Please do not FAX or EMAIL registrations. We cannot accept credit card or purchase orders for conference registration payment.
- Scholarship Registration: Scholarship registration is now FULL.
- Continuing Education Credits (CEUs): 11 credits will be available through University of Washington School of Social Work for an additional cost of $50.00. The conference does not offer CEUs for partial attendance. You should plan to attend the entire event in order to receive a certificate.
- CEUs from University of Washington School of Social Work approved for licensed professionals including: social workers, psychologists, mental health counselors, marriage and family therapists, and chemical dependency counselors in the State of Washington; furthermore, as an accredited institution of higher education, CE certificates are accepted by licensing and certification boards in most states; check with your state board if you have questions.
- Pending approval for CRC, CCM, and CDMS CEUs in process.
