DDA Client, Family, Provider Meet and Greet
This is a great opportunity to meet contracted providers with the state's Developmental Disability Administration and learn about services available in your community.
Services that will be represented:
Person-Centered Plan Facilitation. This is available in the Individual and Family Services (IFS) waiver.
Respite: This is short-term, intermittent relief to individuals who live with and care for you. It is available in your home or in the community. It is available in the Basic Plus, Core, IFS and the Children's Intensive In-home Behavior Supports (CIIBS) waivers.
Community Guide: This service increases access to informal community supports. Services are short-term and designed to help develop creative, flexible and supportive community services for individuals with developmental disabilities. Available in the Basic Plus and Core waivers
Community Engagement: Services designed to increase connection to and engagement in community supports. Available in the IFS waiver
Peer mentoring: Matching someone living through an experience to someone new to that experience. or both individuals and family members. Available in the IFS waiver.
